The Priory Hoby

 

This photo is from a book produced by the Campaign for the Protection of Rural England in the 1930s (but published after WW2) which illustrated the effects of good and bad development on rural Leicestershire. The Priory Hoby was described as being made of cleaned bricks and Scalford pantiles from a demolished house in Hoby. A large Dining Room, Drawing Room, Kitchen and Pantry , Bathroom and three Bedrooms.
