David Beatty age 49
Admiral of the Fleet Sir David Beatty in 1920, at the age of 49. He was the British Commander at the Battle of Jutland when the German fleet were routed on the 31st May 1916. Married Ethel Marshall Field (divorcee) on 22 May 1901 at the registry office, St. George’s, Hanover Square.
